Wedding Pictures

Ahh, Summertime...the season of flowers, of weddings, and of course...wedding pictures...
Here's how to look great for your next "photo op", courtesy of The John Tesh Radio Show!
First problem: looking too stiff-
Don't pose- you'll look too stiff. The trick is to engage the photographer (or else someone else nearby) in a conversation about something you both find interesting. If your mind is focused on something other than the photo, you won't look so stiff.
Never keep your hands right by your sides. Clasp them in front or in back of you, or hold a small prop- even a pet- this helps to relax your body.
Problem #2- The Double Chin-
To fix this, pay attention to the camera position. If the lens is at your eye level or above, you're in the right frame. If the camera is below your eye level, and you're looking down at - you'll look like you have a double chin. Even if you have to bend your knees a bit, make sure you're at least on an even plane with the photographer.
One last problem to avoid in your pictures: The Fake Smile-
Despite what we've all been told since we were knee high, and really looking up at the photographer, don't say "CHEESE"! It usually conjures up a really unnatural smile. Instead, ask the photographer to throw out something unexpected, like "MONEY", which will make you genuinely laugh, creating a beautiful, natural smile.
OK, ready? Here's our photographer, so say it with me: "I heard it on The John Tesh Radio Show!"
