Random Musings - Bluebird day

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday, so Kim and I decided to take ‘Big Blue’ for a float and chase those famous upper Kenai rainbows.  Of course I was skunked.  To make matters slightly MORE irritating, a youngish woman standing in the bow of a nearby drift boat was having no such problem, and it seemed that every time she and her companion (at the oars) drifted into or out of sight, she was battling a chunky trout…which made her at least 3 times the fisher-person I was.

At one point I was on the bank when they floated by, and I forced a friendly smile to my face. 

“How’s it going?” was her greeting.

“What’s the secret?” I replied.

“Estrogen!,” she shouted as they drifted away.

Ooooh.  Anyone know how to tie one of those? 

(I’m guessing it’s kind of pretty and furry…like a purple egg-sucking-leech…but I’m not sure…).
