My bio, huh? Well, first and foremost, I'm a proud Army brat. Spent the better half of the first part of my life overseas, and, this, believe it or not, is where I got my start in radio at the tender age of 8 years old. I think my dad used me for voice work here and there prior to that (he was in radio, too), but it was when it was 8 that I got my first interview with David Cassidy. Big stuff back in the mid 70's. I did more voice work and radio stuff off and on til I joined the Army myself and became a full-time radio guy (thanks, AFRTS).
Years went by, stuff happened, I got out of the Army and out of radio, I traveled to and fro, and, long story short (too late!) ended up here in Alaska. This is where I got back into the wonderful world of radio. Got my start here at MIX 103.1 where I eventually became the evening jock here at MIX (remember the 80's at 8?) Radio folks tend to bounce around a little here in Anchorage and that's exactly what I did. Went to work for a couple of other stations (that shall remain nameless), and eventually found myself back here where my Alaskan radio career started. I worked part-time on the weekends, because I vowed to myself I'd never get back into full-time radio. that worked for a few years until the opportunity came up for me to jump back in full time. And that's where I am today.
Other vital stats:
Oldest of 9 kids, married with a son of my own. Huge Aces fan and even huger (yes, I used that word) 80's fan.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
