Bus Driver Honored For Saving Students From Bus Fire

A North Carolina bus driver is getting major praise from the middle school she drives for, for saving 28 students’ lives when her bus caught on fire.  Deona Washington first noticed there was smoke, then quickly realized she needed to get the kids off the bus and keep them calm. Thanks to her quick action, nobody panicked and nobody was hurt!

Her community honored her for her bravery!
