Hero Bus Driver Saves Boy From Choking

Raquel Radford Baker at first thought a 7-year-old boy was going to vomit when she pulled up to an elementary school in Dallas. Turns out, Preston Bell was choking on a quarter. As soon as she realized he couldn’t breathe, she got him off the bus and performed the Heimlich maneuver on him!

The school honored Baker and Preston’s mom was able to tearfully thank her in person. She said it was the first time in her 17 years of being a school bus driver she’s ever had to do anything like that. But she was trained and ready!
