Mary Poppins, the 1964 classic starring Julie Andrews, has been given a new rating in the United Kingdom due to “discriminatory language.”
The British Board Of Film Classification has upped it to a PG thanks to two uses of the term “hottentots.” It refers to the Khoikhoi people of Africa and is considered offensive.
