The charges Sean “Diddy” Combs are now facing may provide more context to this heartbreaking interview with Justin Bieber from 2020. In it, Bieber was crying about past encounters he had as a young teen early in his career. Bieber was talking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about wanting to protect Billie Eilish as she started to make a name for herself in music as a young star on the rise.

He said, “I don’t want her to go through anything I went through, I wouldn’t wish that upon anybody.” He never got into specifics or named anybody but now it’s getting another look in light of the 14-page indictment against Combs. As a 15-year-old, his manager, Usher, gave Diddy custody of Bieber for 48 hours. And now thanks to the federal investigation, details of “Freak Off” parties have emerged. Speculation is swirling now if Bieber was subjected to all sorts of things he shouldn’t have been as a young teen.

A source says Bieber is ‘not focused on what is going on [with] Diddy or the allegations against him,’ and is focused on being a dad to new baby boy!
